‘Santa Rosa’ is the title track from California artist WØØLS’ newly released EP. The CA-based electronic artist, real name Brock Woolsey, has crafted a unique sound made up of both acoustic and digital instruments. He blends the influence of ambient music, which can be found in those fuzzy textured synths and soft piano lines; dance, which appears in his driving drum patterns and thick bass, as well as some guitar-based music. The track was inspired by a trip to the Channel Islands off the coast of California: “The trip inspired new beginnings as nature provided a type of healing.
